Closer

This series of photographs is titled Closer. This project strives to portray queer individuals and how they interact with one another in a romantic context. Small moments of intimacy through physical contact are captured in the series. These intimate moments of contact are meant to invite the viewer into the romantic connections between the subjects and gain fondness for the queer experience, which they may be unfamiliar with. Each photo builds off of one another until these small intimate gestures amount to more obvious displays of affection that take on more sexual tones.
